The Journey to Placed Based Health and Social Care

In partnership with Mersey Internal Audit Agency (MIAA), NHS North West Leadership Academy (NHW NWLA) and the North West Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (NW ADASS), this exciting session will explore the key principles and policies of place based systems of health and social care, alongside local care journeys from across the North West.
Throughout this half-day interactive workshop, particpants will learn about how system change can be achieved through essential elements suh as place based collaboration, cultural alignment and new forms of system leadership.
- Professor Chris Ham, Chief Executive, The King's Fund, will look at the the principles of place based care and draw on national and international examples utilising a whole system approach.
- Warren Heppolette, Executive Lead for Strategy and System Develpment, Greater Manchester Health & Social Care Partnership, will be sharing his experience of what place based health and care looks like in practice.
